About Me

My name is Peter Andrews. I’m originally from Wilmington, Delaware.  I have degrees from Columbia University (B.A., 2014, History) and the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (J.D., 2018).  I currently live in Denver, Colorado.

This site started as the Internet blog of my semester studying at University College London, from January to May of 2013. It has since become an extremely irregular space for my thoughts on various topics.

I spend most of my free time impersonating a sports journalist/radio host. I am currently the managing editor of the Philly Soccer Page, a site that primarily covers the Philadelphia Union. I am always on the lookout for opportunities in the fields of sportswriting and sports broadcasting.

At Columbia, I wrote a biweekly column about Columbia sports for the school’s newspaper, the Spectator, and you can find the complete archive of those under the “Sports Columns” tab. I also worked as a play-by-play commentator for WKCR 89.9 FM, the radio station of Columbia, for men’s and women’s basketball and baseball in the 2013-14 season. I have also hosted several now-defunct or quasi-defunct podcasts.

You can follow me on Twitter @pfandrews for the most immediate access to my thoughts. A full run-down of my relevant and irrelevant professional experience can be found over on LinkedIn.
